The good news is this. The Dragon Prince will not die at the end of Season 4. There will be a fifth, sixth, and a final seventh season. So, you’ve had a lot on your plate for a while now. For this show at least, you don’t need to say goodbye just yet.

When Did the Fourth Season of the Dragon Prince Get Officially Renewed?
Since a video game based on The Dragon Prince is being made, the drama has been able to get a lot of attention and positive reviews. It has even won Emmy awards for being an excellent animated show for kids.
With such a good name, it’s easy to think that renewing the show for a fourth season didn’t take long. At the virtual Comic-Con in 2020, the animated fantasy show was renewed not only for season 4, but also for seasons 5 through 7.
What’s on Netflix says that each new season of The Dragon Prince will have nine episodes. This means that there will be 63 new episodes of The Dragon Prince.
When Will the Dragon Prince Be on Netflix for the First Time?
Even though Netflix took a huge step by ordering a lot of episodes of the show, neither Netflix nor the show’s creators have given any major updates on how the show is coming along, which has made people even more frustrated.
But in February 2021, a government post acknowledged the anger of the communities by saying:Â “Since the full Saga was given the go-ahead, our team has been working hard to bring you the next part of The Dragon Prince with care, passion, and creativity.

We can’t tell you when Season 4 will start right now, but we want you to know that it will be worth the wait!” In a December update, they also said that seasons 4 through 6 will be a new part of the show, which they call “Phase 2,” while season 7 will be very different from these two parts.

They said, “We’re now following the same development pattern for seasons 4, 5, and 6, which we started as soon as the show was renewed in 2020. We’re also spending the same amount of time up front to make sure the story arc for Phase 2 is perfect.”
In the April 2022 update, it was said that all of the seasons’ scripts had been written, along with clear dialogue. So, at NYCC, the trailer for the fourth season of The Dragon Prince was shown. It will be available on Netflix for everyone on November 3, 2022.
What Will Happen in Season 4 of the Dragon Prince?
In season 3 of The Dragon Prince, there are signs of a different future, but then something that seems like a cliche happens and changes everything. For example, Been would have died for sure if his daughter Claudia hadn’t brought him back to life two days later. The friendship between humans and elves gets stronger in Season 3.
Season 3 focused on the huge cocoon on the wall. Season 4 might show how powerful the creature is once it goes through metamorphosis. Not only that, but Season 4 will also show how and why Viren, Claudia, and Aaravos are dangerous.
What’s on Netflix says, “Now that Callum and Rayla have finally said they love each other, it will be even more fun to explore their relationship next season.”
